The type of lamps used in "Regular" low-pressure sun beds can be identified as long fluorescent tubes that run the full length of the unit. These lamps have a negative atmospheric pressure or "vacuum".
Most low-pressure sun beds today (except vertical units) may have one or more high-pressure facials and several low-pressure body sun lamps, this combination is typical and doesn’t make the unit a “high pressure” or “medium pressure” unit.
These "regular" sun beds mimic natural sunlight and helps build what is referred to as a "Base". They vary in size and power and thus maximum session time and have a higher UVB output than a High-Pressure unit.

Ergoline 650 Ultra Power Plus
As the name "Hybrid" implies, this is the best of both regular and high-pressure technologies combined. Immediate color and delayed pigment combine for amazing bronze results! Our most discerning clients and those with skin type III or above will love this type of equipment. Clients should expect to visit once per week to maintain results.
High Pressure Sun Tanning
($10 upgrade per session)
Magic 636, Velocity 918, Saturn
High-pressure Sun equipment got its name from the lamp technology used. All true high-pressure sun systems utilize short quartz "HID" lamps filled with a very specific Metal Halogenide mixture that produces very high ultraviolet radiation (UVR) intensity levels. The pressure of the special gas inside the sun lamp is higher than normal atmospheric pressure, but through the translation of the German phrase "Hoch Druks Brenner" High-velocity burners or High-pressure burners the term "High Pressure" was coined.
True High-Pressure Sun Systems should provide the customer with desirable results in just a few sessions, and can be maintained with a few sessions per month.

Preparation is critical for the quality and longevity of your spray tan. Please follow these instructions.
The night before your spray tan appointment shower shave and exfoliate the skin paying special attention to dry areas like ankles knees and elbows. Do not use any type of Oil based products, soap and a luffa works best. After your shower apply a quality cream moisturizer….again, no oils.
For best results we recommend that you shower with soap approximately two hours before your appointment. Do not apply any lotion. Clean dry skin tans best.
Arrive to your appointment in loose fitting dark colored clothing with no makeup, perfume, or deodorant. If necessary, protect leather car seats as the solution may stain Nylon Silk and Leather.
We look forward to your visit!
Maintenance is critical for the quality and longevity of your spray tan. Please follow these instructions:
Avoid getting wet (like washing hands etc.) or perspiring.
Unless instructed otherwise, please try to wait a minimum of 8 hours (4 to 6 for Versa Spa booth) before your post tan shower. This first shower is a warm water rinse without soap or washcloth. Rinse until the water runs clear. Pat the skin dry, do not rub. If your skin feels dry you may use a quality cream moisturizer.
Your skin may appear lighter but rest assured this is only because the bronzer (makeup) in the solution has been washed off. The tan can continue to develop for over 24 hours. During this time be gentle to your tan. Use baby powder where skin rubs and under shoes or tight clothing and avoid heavy perspiration.
After 24 hours you may wash with soap. Your tan lasts as long as your skin stays on your body. It is the natural process of exfoliation that fades the tan. Always pat the skin dry and apply quality cream moisturizer often. Do not use a washcloth or lufa for the life of your tan. Avoid shaving if possible. If you must shave, use a new razor and minimal strokes.
Be aware that “Chlorine” dries the skin and promotes exfoliation. Rinse with water and pat dry after exposing the skin to chlorine. Ocean water is not as bad as chlorine water for your tan but ocean water has sand and waves that can sandblast the tan off your legs!
